Description: Hey HN! We’re Luke and Varun, and we built something to fix an annoying problem in real estate: reaching homeowners directly. Current options are spam calls, junk mail, or agents cold knocking with “thinking about selling?”
Instead, we have local agents hand-deliver real offers to owners. Enter any address, submit your offer ($49), and an agent delivers it in person. They get a legitimate reason to knock (“I have an offer for your home”), you reach the owner directly, and owners get real offers instead of spam.
Just launched in the US. Try it at everyperch.com. Would love your feedback on the experience and pricing.
This is our first product launch on the way to making every home for sale at a flat fee!

Description: I’m excited to share ToolJet 3.0, a major update to our open-core low-code platform for building internal tools. This release is all about speed, scalability, and better support for complex use cases.
Backstory
When I first launched ToolJet (https://github.com/ToolJet/ToolJet) here on HN (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=27421408](https://news… 2021, it started as a tool for building frontends connected to data sources via a secure backend proxy, with integrations like Google Sheets. The initial post hit #1 on HN, bringing in a wave of early adopters and helping us secure seed funding.
Since then, ToolJet has grown significantly. We added a visual workflow builder, a no-code database on PostgreSQL, and expanded integrations. But as the platform evolved, the codebase became heavier, and performance issues emerged. ToolJet 3.0 is a complete refactor focused on fixing these problems and delivering a faster, more reliable experience.
What’s New in ToolJet 3.0
Here’s what we’ve built for this release:
•10x Faster Load Times: We refactored the core architecture, resulting in much faster performance, especially for complex apps. •Enhanced Workflow Automation: The visual builder now handles complex workflows with better execution speed and reliability. •Upgraded No-Code Database: Built on PostgreSQL, our database now scales better and supports more data types. •Expanded Integrations: Added Salesforce, Supabase, Databricks, AWS Textract, OpenAI, Pinecone, and others based on user feedback. •Security and Access Control: New features like LDAP, SAML, Git sync, and OIDC group sync provide enterprise-level access control. •More Self-Hosting Options: We’ve expanded support for different platforms, making it easier to deploy ToolJet in your own environment. •UI and UX Improvements: Redesigned form components, added a Kanban board, and made several enhancements based on user feedback. •ToolJet Copilot: An AI-powered assistant for query writing and debugging, aimed at making development faster and more intuitive. •Community Growth: Our GitHub repo has surpassed 32,000 stars with contributions from over 600 developers.
Why It Matters
With 3.0, we’re doubling down on our vision of a fast, flexible, and extensible platform that balances the power of an open-core model with the needs of modern development teams. This release addresses the stability and scalability issues that came with rapid growth, making ToolJet ready for complex internal tools.

Author: grantsingleton
Description: I built JABA because I was frustrated with existing budgeting apps being overly complicated and rigid. While there are many budgeting apps out there (hence the name JABA “Just Another Budgeting App”) this one is simpler and has a Chat with your budget feature.
I also feel like there is a better way to do budgeting with the current state of AI. I want an AI assistant that helps me stay on track. I want it to text me, let me know every morning how I’m doing and how I should be spending or not spending. I haven’t achieved that yet in this MVP but I hope to. Would love to get your feedback on this.
Key features:
- Chat with your budget - An AI assistant for your budget
What makes JABA different:
Philosophy: Most apps try to automate everything, but this often leads to miscategorized transactions and a disconnect from your finances. JABA embraces manual entry as a feature, not a bug. I’m also not married to this and may end up adding bank connections if I can figure out a good UX.
Flexibility: Start budgeting from any date (even mid-month), create custom periods, and structure your budget your way. No forced categories or rigid systems.
AI as a helper: The assistant is meant to be a friend to help you stay on track with your budget.
Try it out on iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/jaba-chat-with-your-budget/id6…
Looking for feedback, particularly from others who:
- Want to see what AI can do for budgeting and would like to help me achieve that

Description: Hey HN! For the past year, our small startup has been focused on a single question: can we use generative AI to create genuinely new kinds of gameplay? Retail Mage is our first attempt at an answer.
I like to joke that Retail Mage is “late stage capitalism come for Diagon Alley.” You and your friends are mages working the end of your shift at Mage Mart, seeking 5 star reviews from the wacky customers and trying not to burn the shop down, which sometimes happens.
We’ve built what we think is one of the more sophisticated implementations of GenAI in games so far. NPCs are powered by embodied AI agents that can observe their environment, plan actions, remember interactions, and engage in natural conversation. Going beyond AI agents, we also introduce an AI-based interaction system: Players and NPCs can just type or say what they want to do, and we translate that into the 3D simulation. This approach lets us bring “rulings, not rules” style gameplay to video games for the first time.
The technical journey has been… interesting! Some highlights:
- All inference runs in the cloud. We’re part of Amazon’s Generative AI Accelerator (the only gaming company)
- We manage inference ourselves, using some of the latest techniques in batching, forking and KV-cache reuse
- Over the last year, we’ve reduced our inference cost by 3 orders of magnitude
- After testing over two dozen models, we’re currently using Google’s Gemma
- We have our own in-house AI tools for Unreal Engine, including in-engine/runtime inference testing
- We developed our own natural language unit testing suite for our models and features
And we launch today! Try it out: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3224380/Retail_Mage/
Retail Mage is just the start. We have so many other prototypes and experiments. As a game developer, I’m legitimately excited to bring a new genre of games to players. Happy to answer questions!

Description: Hey HN, we are building Rankai (https://www.rankai.ai), an AI agent that pushes SEO blogs and code fixes automatically to your site.
My teammate previously scaled a product to 4M users via organic traffic and SEO. And we understood the importance of driving SEO traffic for small businesses. But after we talked to a lot of small businesses and startups, we realized that majority are not doing SEO at all. For them, learning and doing SEO weekly is too time-consuming, and no way they’d hire an agency for $4k+.
So we tried to automate each step of SEO process in an agentic way using LLM. How it works:
Getting the blogs written correctly with the right sources and visuals is the hardest part. And tbh the current version isn’t ready to be left on auto-pilot, so we recommend doing human reviews and edits before publishing. There’s also an editor for you to guide the AI in the outline process.
We’re still very early and would love to get your feedback!

Description: tl;dr we’re releasing python bindings for writing stream processing jobs using the Denormalized Rust library.
Hey HN,
A few months ago we released Denormalized, our embeddable stream processing engine written in rust [0]. Today we’re excited to showcase python bindings for the library.
Python is still very much the language of data and we wanted to make it easy for more engineers to write fast streaming jobs without having to learn Rust.
Currently, you can use the library to write streaming aggregations, stream joins, and user defined aggregate functions (thought the API for this is quite clunk).
The library is available on pypi: pip install denormalized
and we’ve created a simple docker container that will quickly spin up an instance of kafka along with a script to write fake data to make running the examples [1] really easy: docker run --rm -p 9092:9092 emgeee/kafka_emit_measurements:latest

Description: Hi HN!
I built Wewod to provide athletes worldwide with access to a global leaderboard of scores for well-established benchmarks in the CrossFit and functional fitness communities.
What sets Wewod apart from traditional tracking apps is that it combines a logbook with social network features. While most apps focus on individual tracking or offer paid training programs, Wewod is dedicated solely to benchmarking. This makes it an accessible tool for both amateur and professional athletes to compare their performance.
My motivation came from a passion for the sport and some personal frustration - after trying several popular apps, I found their UIs complex and limited by paywalls. I wanted to create an app with a simple, fun, and intuitive user interface.
I’d love for you to try it out and share feedback on the user experience. Even if you’re not familiar with this niche, your input would still be invaluable.
Tech Stack:
- App: React Native, Expo, React Relay
- Backend: Self-hosted Hasura with a custom persisted query layer using Nginx and Lua; Express; Firebase (authentication only); Cloud SQL
- Website: NextJS
- Infrastructure: Google Cloud, Terraform
- Observability: Datadog
Thanks for your time and feedback!

There is a lot more to share, like USD II (created by https://www.bridge.xyz/), a stablecoin that we designed to work with Burner without gas, but for now we’re excited to push Burner out the door and start getting feedback from users.

Author: rguldener
Description: Nango Auth is a free, source-available implementation of (O)Auth for 250+ APIs.
Auth with external APIs is surprisingly difficult. OAuth is a mess[0], many APIs require parameters other than an API key or access token, and platforms like Stripe or GitHub even create their own custom auth protocols.
We first launched Nango Auth on HN 1.5 years ago[1] when it only supported 40 OAuth APIs.
Since then, it has expanded beyond OAuth into an end-to-end solution for API authentication:
- Supports 250+ APIs[2] and almost a dozen auth modes: OAuth 2.0, OAuth 1.0, API key, Basic auth, and a half-dozen custom formats
- Pre-built UI to help users pick & connect the API (including guides to find their API key and other required parameters)
- Automatic credentials validation on connect
- Secure, encrypted credentials storage & automatic token refresh
- Detects expired/broken access tokens
- Very detailed logs for quick & easy debugging
More than 300 companies use Nango Auth in production for their product integrations: From fast-growing AI startups (Respell, Beam, Levity) to established SaaS players (Typeform, Semgrep, Electric) and even public companies. We also run a Slack Community[3] with 2,000+ engineers building product integrations.
Nango Auth is a part of Nango[4], our source-available product integrations platform. While Nango itself is a paid product, our auth product (Nango Auth) is free for unlimited use, forever. It’s our small way of giving back to the community. You can either self-host Nango Auth or use our free cloud option.
We hope Nango Auth can be helpful for your next integration, and look forward to your feedback!

Description: Howdy HN!
For those who don’t know, back in the early 2000s, Nintendo and Namco developed a series of music rhythm games for the GameCube featuring Donkey Kong called Donkey Konga: https://www.mariowiki.com/Donkey_Konga_(series)
The Donkey Konga games borrowed heavily from Taiko no Tatsujin (another music rhythm game by Namco). However, instead of taiko drums, the player would use DK Bongos to jam along with music from different eras and genres.
Long story short, I figured out how to add custom tracks to some of the Donkey Konga games (Donkey Konga 2 and 3) but found the entire process cumbersome, so I decided to make a dedicated editor. It was a lot of fun to make, and I hope others get some enjoyment out of it too!

Description: When the immune system encounters a new antigen, it needs to make a decision about whether to attack, or to ignore. Making the correct decision is important for fighting infections, killing cancer cells, and avoiding autoimmune diseases. The decision is made using time-dependent chemical signals and computations that occur at different places (tumor, lymph node, blood).
So if we think of the immune system as a computer that uses chemical signals, rather than electrical signals, how do we communicate with the immune system, to help it make the right decisions? My lab has designed a catheter that allows us to deliver time-dependent chemical signals into tumors and lymph nodes. The catheter contains a 3D printed retention mechanism to prevent migration, and it is implanted using image-guided, minimally invasive techniques. Different drugs can then be delivered into specific locations at specific times, using programmable pumps, to convince the immune system to attack cancer antigens.

Solution : We give language teachers a platform where they can add their existing YouTube videos and add notes to them creating a structured course. We will also handle the interactivity by auto generating quizzes and other gamification material.

Description: Three weeks ago GHQ, a strategy board created by Kurt Vonnegut appeared on the front of HN[0].
A friend and I got hooked and spent the last week and half building out a playable online version of the game. It supports pass n’play, multiplayer, and a primitive bot (named kurt) that you can play against. We’re also chess nerds so had to ship with an Elo system.
Huge kudos to nicolodavis[1] and the maintainers of Boardgame.io [2] - it’s the only reason we could build something this good, this fast. The library separates concerns and authority across the server / client seamlessly without requiring you to rewrite the logic in multiple places. The abstractions felt right immediately. If you want to build a browser based board game, start here.
Hope this is fun and brings GHQ to more people. We opened source the code if you want to contribute or remix it :)

Description: We just re-launched 8arms.ai after a long hiatus. It’s a marketing campaign generation tool.
---
What it does:
The idea is you tell us what you’re trying to market to the world, your audience, tone of voice and your goals for this campaign - we will then do the rest of the work and generate you a bunch of relevant, targeted content.
You then flick through the blog posts one by one, making any corrections you deem necessary. You are the subject matter expert, we are just your humble assistant.
We then generate you a set of scheduled and varied social media posts that relate to your content and campaign goals.
The final output is a content calendar which will tell you what to post and when in order to meet your campaign goals.
---
Why we love it:
The process of building a solid content marketing campaign usually takes marketers 4+ weeks to put together for a 3 month long campaign. With 8arms, the average time can be reduced down to one day for brand new start-ups / indie hackers.
We don’t expect 8arms to replace anyone, just give people a decent leg up on their marketing journey.
---
Starter plans are free for 30 days - no credit card details required at all. We’d love some feedback on the product - especially if you intend to use it to market a new startup / product.
Thanks!

I tried to keep the time until an email shows up in the feed as low as possible. In my tests emails arrived at the inbox about 10-20 seconds after they’re sent, and then processing takes ~30s, usually it’s faster. The file is cached for 1min. So the maximum time until an email shows up in the feed should be 2min.

Description: Hi HN,
I wanted to share a tool I’ve been working on:(https://romi.felixoginni.com/). It’s a simple, free way for marketers, teams, and entrepreneurs to track their Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI). Inspired by the lightweight, no-signup-needed approach of Pastebin and JS Fiddle, ROMI Tracker lets you create a tracker with a unique URL that you can share and collaborate on without any login barriers.
What It Does:
- Create a Tracker Instantly: Start tracking your marketing campaigns right away, no signup needed.
- Shareable URLs: Share your tracker with teammates or clients through a simple link.
- Visual Performance Insights: View and analyze your marketing ROI through clear, charts and key metric tables.
Backstory: I developed ROMI Tracker after noticing that many available tools were either too complex or required a significant cost commitment. As a designer and marketer, I wanted something lightweight and accessible that could be used without the friction of account creation, especially for teams needing quick collaboration.
Why It’s Different:
- No Barriers: No signups, logins, or paywalls – just create a tracker and start using it.
- Easy Sharing: Collaborate with your team through a simple, unique link.
- Simplicity First: Designed to be straightforward with essential features, focusing on what users need to track marketing ROI effectively.
Next Steps: I’m exploring how to expand ROMI Tracker into a more comprehensive tool with advanced analytics, AI Insights and integrations with marketing platforms. I’d love your feedback on how useful this is for you and what additional features would make it better.

Thankfully, they also a provide a special URL at https://google.com/ncr (no country redirect) that disables the redirection. That’s all well and good, but this doesn’t work well if you like browsing in Incognito mode, since all the cookies get reset each session.
After being regularly annoyed by this for a few years, I wrote an extension (currently for Chrome and Firefox) that solves this Incognito NCR problem. Under the hood, browsing to https://google.com/ncr works by giving you a new NID cookie, which according to Google “contains a unique ID Google uses to remember your preferences”. Each time you open a new Incognito session, the extension sets a fresh NID cookie received from a request to https://google.com/ncr, disabling country redirection. Since you get a new cookie each session, it should not negatively affect the privacy of Incognito sessions.
Happy to hear any feedback you have!

Description: A visualizer I built that takes in any reddit post (via link) and shows how comments were made on it over time. Originally I made it to try to discover which comments got the most upvotes generally speaking, but there are probably other good uses for it too!
