URL: https://github.com/pneumaticapp/pneumaticworkflow
Author: pneumaticteam
Description: Hi HN,
I'm one of the co-founders of Pneumatic, an enterprise-grade workflow software designed for small, fast-growing startups.
Yesterday, we released Pneumatic under the Apache 2.0 license.
If your team has used Trello, Basecamp, or Asana before and you're now looking to implement a more structured, mature approach by building repeatable task sequences, you should try Pneumatic.
Here's what Pneumatic offers:
- Task sequences defined by templates. Design a template once and run multiple instances of a process based on this reusable template—manually, via API, or with a public share kick-off form.
- An intuitive, user-friendly Workflow Template Editor.
- Workflow conditions to skip tasks or create branches.
- Dynamic task performer assignment: defined by the template or variable, based on conditions.
- Email, mobile, push, and REST notifications for all major events, such as when workflows start/stop, tasks start/stop, mentions, and more.
- Support for parallel tasks. And much more.
Some of the most popular use cases include chains of approvals, employee or customer onboarding, software development and design processes, and content creation workflows for teams.
I’d love your feedback and questions. You can reach me at anton.seidler@pneumatic.app

13. Show HN: I made a tool to save time translating while reading
URL: https://www.lexivoice.com/
Author: saikou
Description: As someone who loves reading to learn new languages, I recently decided to start reading books in Dutch to improve my skills. However, as a beginner, I quickly ran into a frustrating problem: I was constantly stopping to look up translations of words I didn’t understand.
It felt like I was spending more time on my phone searching than actually reading the book! After a while, it really started to take the joy out of the experience.
That’s when I started thinking – what if there was a tool that could help me translate words as I read, without having to manually search for them? So, I decided to build something myself that would allow me to read more fluidly without these constant interruptions.
For anyone who's faced similar frustrations while reading in a foreign language, I’ve built a solution that help me a lot. If you're curious, feel free to check it out. I’m very open and eager for feedback, so if you have any suggestions or thoughts, I’d love to hear them.
Thanks for reading!

14. Show HN: EmailUSD – a new way to send and receive TRON USDT using email address
URL: https://emailusd.net
Author: esaminu
Description: Hi All!
I wanted to show you guys EmailUSD, an app I’ve been working on for some time. It lets you send and receive TRON USDT using just email addresses simplifying onboarding and making it super easy to use + send and receive.
I think for a lot of non crypto folks crypto is this scary new thing because the onboarding and usage experience is really novel. Upon introduction you have to write down your 12 words and we put scary messages everywhere about it. And then when you want to send and receive you have to transmit this complex combination of numbers and letters to someone and get it exactly right. Often people (myself included) will send a test transaction to make sure they have the right address.
EmailUSD aims to solve that by
- Making the onboarding experience super familiar
- Making basic usage (sending and receiving) super familiar and hard to get wrong
- Making it so that you pay fees in USDT so that you don't have to worry about getting TRX currency to pay transaction fees
The goal is to let you send crypto to non technical folks without needing to give each person long step by step instructions and explanations and to allow non technical folks to join the crypto revolution.
How it works:
EmailUSD uses NEAR chain signatures behind the scenes. In the simplest terms, this technology allows you to sign things using non-existent private keys controlled by a well audited, distributed mpc network of nodes. To get a signature you pass in a derivation path which could be any string. And the mpc network prefixes the derivation path with the caller’s account Id so that derivation paths are scoped to you and can’t be accessed by other accounts.
EmailUSD submits a zero knowledge proof of your google token signature to a smart contract which then calls the mpc network after verification using your email address in the derivation path. This allow it to derive any TRON signature using your token which is never submitted on chain, and your TRON address can be computed using just your email address
Disclaimer
- We are still pending an audit of the smart contract so please don’t store large amounts of money on it just yet
- Testnet addresses can be changed at any time. The MPC network does not guarantee the same keys on testnet
Testnet - https://testnet.emailusd.net - uses Shasta testnet which has many faucets e.g. you can go to the developer telegram here https://t.me/TronOfficialDevelopersGroupEn and evoke the command !shasta_usdt wallet_address and then you will get testnet USDT tokens that can be used for testing it out. You can also reach out to me and I'll send over some test tokens!
Have fun with it and let me know what you think!

24. Show HN: Real-time profiler for C++ [video]
URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPQ3cStwy6s
Author: donadigo
Description: Hello HN,
For a while now, I've been working on a Visual Studio extension that enables you to see code execution and variables in real-time, directly in the VS editor. A couple months ago, I implemented a prototype of a "profiler" mode which shows how much time a line takes relatively to the entire function and since then, I have released it as an update to the extension you can use.
The profiler is completely real-time, meaning that you can watch how the profile changes depending on what is going on in the application. The instrumentation is automatic and is applied to all lines in the function, which means that you will not miss samples, like you would in a call stack sampling profiler. A really big advantage is that you can also freely browse around the codebase and explore the profile deeper and deeper without ever having to start or stop profiling sessions and waiting for the data to be assembled.
Each line gets brighter as its impact becomes larger on the function, which is very similiar to the design Visual Studio uses for its performance captures. Besides the line you can view its current function percentage and also how many times the line was executed in the function call. More detailed info like the precise time measurements can be viewed by hovering over the tooltip.
The extension with the new profiler mode is available on the VS marketplace: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=donadigo... (activate the mode in top VS menu -> Extensions -> D0 -> Live Profiler).
If you want to follow the project or have questions, I'm always available in the Discord server here: https://discord.gg/PY6X3NMmuN and there's more info about the project on its website: https://d-0.dev/

26. Show HN: Infinite SCP Generator
URL: https://github.com/dottxt-ai/cursed/tree/main/scp
Author: cpfiffer
Description: I work at .txt, the Outlines maintainers, and did this as a fun side project.
I used Outlines to structure language model output in the format of an SCP entry.
SCP entries have a specific structure. It's easy to get a language model to generate these structures via JSON without fail -- no parsing errors, no trailing commas, no missing brackets. Outlines ensures that all text generated will follow the SCP structure.
We're also testing an internal structured text API, and figured this might be a good way to test out repeated, regular calls. Entries are generated at midnight and uploaded to a simple website.
Check out the resulting entries here:

28. Show HN: Gw – lightweight GitOps tool that runs anywhere
URL: https://github.com/daniel7grant/gw
Author: daniel7grant
Description: Hey HN,
I built gw
, a minimal, open-source GitOps tool written entirely in Rust. I'm a big fan of pull-based continuous deployments — just push code and let the deployment update automatically (like ArgoCD or Netlify). However these tools often lock you into heavy cloud or Kubernetes-based solutions. I wanted to make a simple binary that you can download and run on anything: from a cheap VM or Raspberry Pi to servers behind NAT or VPN. It regularly pulls from a repository, runs custom scripts or restarts a process whenever changes are detected.
I'd love your feedback and suggestions. Thanks for checking it out!

29. Show HN: PreCog AI – Automatic AI Model Selection for Any Task
URL: https://precog.ubik.studio/
Author: ieuanking
Description: Hi HN,
I'm one of the co-founders of PreCog AI, a project my friend and I started to make the best AI models more accessible. PreCog AI is a chatbot that automatically picks and answers with the best AI model for whatever task you throw at it.
We made PreCog public on Monday and are getting great feedback. Originally built as an internal tool to help our small team reduce costs (paying for various chatbots) and get better AI output, PreCog has helped us so much with our workflow and ideation that we just had to share it.
Key Features of PreCog
- AI Model Matchmaking: With access to 18 models, PreCog automatically matches your questions with the most fitting AI model based on the task.
- Versatile Adaptation: Works with any task, from coding to creative writing, giving you the right tool for the job.
-Ongoing Updates: Stay current with AI advancements using the latest LLM leaderboard data (we are constantly adding and changing our leaderboard). See the leaderboard here - https://precog.ubik.studio/leaderboard
-Preferred Model Selection: If you have a preferred model, choose it, and PreCog will use that model exclusively to respond.
How PreCog Works:
PreCog analyzes your query, references the model leaderboard, and then matches your query with the highest-ranked AI for that niche task. Delivering high-quality, task-specific output. PreCog's Model Leaderboard ranks AI models through over a million human comparisons, evaluated and presented on an Elo-scale. The dataset used to build the PreCog Leaderboard is from ChatBot Arena by https://lmarena.ai/. Researchers from UC Berkeley SkyLab and LMSYS developed the battle framework to produce the dataset.
I love feedback, questions, and critiques it helps me and my friend develop with the user in mind.

32. Show HN: Phiano is a spaced repetition sheet music practice app for iPad
URL: https://phiano.com/
Author: still_fil
Description: Since learning about spaced repetition 7 years ago, I've leaned heavily on Anki to streamline my process of learning languages and memorizing bits of factual information in general.
After taking up piano as a hobby, I've been designing an approach to my music practice that would help me develop a habit of jumping into daily practice sessions without thinking too much about what to play next. I envisioned a system that would:
- store my entire repertoire, including exercises, pieces, and chord sequences to improvise over
- manage spaced repetition scheduling to balance learning new material with refreshing and further mastering what I already know
- suggest pieces due for practice today, in order of increasing difficulty, so the first thing I play each day is the easiest, making the start of the session pleasant and encouraging habit formation
- enable chunking, allowing me to extract shorter segments from larger pieces to focus on, which become separate "cards" in the system. Such "child" cards should always precede the "parent" card in a practice session if both are due.
As a professional iOS developer, I've been iterating on an iPad app implementing such system while also using it for my own music practice. It's tailored for my personal use and thus is quite limited/opinionated:
- there is no pre-existing library of pieces; instead, I import music into Phiano from the Camera Roll in image format. Sources include screenshots of sheet music from a PDF viewer, photos of printed sheet music, and screenshots from music learning apps.
- the app does not evaluate my playing. Instead, I self-evaluate after practicing each piece or segment.
- at any given moment, there's exactly one piece or segment to play next, selected by the algorithm. Cards cannot be picked randomly. (However, the active card can be "suspended", allowing me to remove it and its parents from today's practice backlog, moving on to the next best card to review according to the algorithm. I don't use this very often)
I'm quite satisfied with how the app works for me. It has helped me build a strong daily piano practice habit, and I've observed slow but steady progress in my piano mastery level week after week over the past 5 years, practicing about 30 minutes each day.
It's been a while since I added any new features, and the app is very stable, so I've decided to make it available on the App Store for others to try.
I would be delighted if there are spaced repetition and music enthusiasts out there with access to an iPad running iOS 17 or later who find Phiano useful. By the way, it will work with any type of musical information that can be represented in image format, for example guitar tabs.

33. Show HN: A DB of SaaS email examples
URL: https://www.saasemails.xyz/
Author: edostra
Description: Hi everyone!
I’ve spent the last couple of months building a library of SaaS email examples.
Why?
Well, if you’re the one creating email campaigns for your SaaS, you know how hard is to find good examples to take inspiration from.
I’m not just talking about popular sequences, but also about simple emails that are essential for a business like subscription renewal reminders or pricing updates.
That’s why I’ve collected, and organized by use case, hundreds of examples from top Startups as well as niche indie SaaS.
The database is new and growing, and there’s still a lot of work to do but I’d love to hear your thoughts!

34. Show HN: Iceaxe – A modern, fast ORM for Python and Postgres
URL: https://github.com/piercefreeman/iceaxe
Author: icyfox
Description: Hey HN,
I've been writing webapps in Python for 6 years and have been using SQLAlchemy as my ORM for about that same time. As I've recently scaled more products with this stack a few things occurred to me:
- It takes really careful session management to avoid idle-in-transaction hanging in the database because objects are still floating around (see: PEP 249 and its prioritization “implicit begin” and “explicit commit”)
- Not once have we switched backend databases, we've always stuck with Postgres
While it was baking hot in San Francisco a few weekends ago I took a step back to write a ground-up Postgres ORM with modern syntax. It main focuses are typehinted schemas, async support, integrated database migrations, and explicit transaction management. You can certainly do all this with existing solutions but my hope is by making them first class primitives it's easier to write correct and performant database code.
Give it a try - would love to hear what you think!

36. Show HN: Skipper AI – Turn Slack conversations into detailed Jira tickets
Author: thirtywatt
Description: Skipper turns Slack conversations into Jira tickets. It uses AI to organize the text, analyze images, and create detailed tickets in Jira — like an assistant. This reduces a bunch of tedious, repetitive Jira work.
I initially built Skipper as an internal tool for my team, and it has worked well in saving us time and context-switching.
What it does uniquely:
- Task type: Auto-detects based on context.
- Epics: Auto-assigns the most relevant epic it finds, or you can specify which one to use.
- Sprints: Detects the next sprint automatically and places the ticket there.
- Assignee: You can assign to someone through your command, or leave it unassigned by default.
Just @Skipper in a thread, or use /ticket anywhere. A ticket will be created from context & posted inline for everyone to see.

This is not a full templating language like Jinja, and does not support things like template inheritance, etc. Rather, empyt can be used as an 'extension' alongside other templating engines.
Fully functional, but considered a very early v1. Biggest thing ATM is that security needs to be thought through a lot more.

46. Show HN: 2048 turned 10 this year, I built an updated version to celebrate
URL: https://play2048.co
Author: terabytest
Description: Hi all! My name is Gabriele Cirulli, I’m the original creator of 2048. Ten years ago, someone posted 2048 on HN[1] and suddenly it seemed like everyone was playing it. Back then, I wrote a bit about my experience during those weeks[2].
Even after all these years, that experience still feels a bit surreal to me. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who connected with the game, whether in small or significant ways, and for the stories shared along the way. Some people expressed how they were going through tough times and found some comfort, however small, in playing 2048.
At the start of last year, I wanted to breathe new life into the game as it was starting to show its age. I quit my job last October to work on 2048 full time and spent a year building this new version (the original took just 5 days!). I wanted to pay tribute to what made 2048 great while modernizing and polishing the experience.
The idea of adding powerups came when Prime Gaming and I connected to see if we could create a special version of 2048 for their members, with some exclusive extras. Some of those powerups made it into the main game, though there’s still a Classic[3] mode just like the original for those who prefer a more hardcore experience. The old site is also still online[4].
2048 is now my full-time focus, and I’m excited about the ways it can keep improving. I wanted to share this update with the community where it all began, both for a bit of nostalgia and to hear your thoughts and feedback!
Thank you all so much!
— Gabriele

60. Show HN: Microsoft Teams Ticketing System – Ticketing as a Service
URL: https://www.teamswork.app/best-microsoft-teams-ticketing-service-desk
Author: thisismarc
Description: Hello HN community!
I’m excited to share Ticketing As A Service, a certified Microsoft Teams ticketing system designed to streamline service desk operations for any department. After working in IT and seeing the challenges of managing untracked requests, I created this solution to enhance productivity and efficiency for teams of any size or industry.
What is Ticketing As A Service? This app helps teams manage bug reports, incident tickets, and service requests seamlessly within Microsoft Teams. By centralizing and organizing these requests, it reduces response times and ensures nothing gets lost in the mix.
Our team saw that internal service requests—whether from HR, Marketing, Legal, or IT—could easily get lost in emails or chats. We wanted to create a tool that helps teams stay organized, resolve requests faster, and ensure everyone remains on the same page. That’s how Ticketing As A Service was born: a Microsoft Teams-integrated solution designed to simplify request management across any department.
Unlike other ticketing systems, our app is fully integrated within Microsoft Teams, leveraging the platform’s collaboration features. This keeps everything in one place, making it easier for teams to manage requests without switching between multiple tools.
To test the app, you will need a Microsoft Teams account, but you can try Ticketing As A Service for free. Just head over to our landing page and click Try it free: https://www.teamswork.app/best-microsoft-teams-ticketing-ser...
I’d love to hear your feedback or answer any questions! Feel free to share your thoughts or ask about specific use cases in the comments.
Thanks for checking it out, and I look forward to your insights!
