11. Show HN: CoffeeSpace – A simpler cofounder matching app
URL: https://www.coffeespace.com/playground
Author: fauzanrm
Description: We’ve been working on a playground that showcases what our cofounder-matching mobile app can do (https://coffeespace.com). It’s designed as a swipe gallery (similar to Hinge), but instead of matching romantically, you’re swiping through profiles of potential cofounders. The profiles are simulated and representative of the real users you'll find on our app. You can even try setting filters to refine your matches.
Why we built it:
Our mission is simple: to create more high-quality cofounder team-ups in the world. In the startup space, finding the right cofounder can be challenging, and we wanted to provide an intuitive, fun way to make that connection. We’ve even integrated LinkedIn information into the app to give you a fuller sense of who you’re connecting with.
What to expect:
You can try the playground now, using it to test out different filters and explore the user experience. If you’d like to try the app itself, it’s built using FlutterFlow and is ready for download.
We’re still figuring out if the swipe method is the best way to match cofounders. We’re considering adding a browse feature where users can view recommended profiles in a more traditional manner. A semantic search bar that lets you find cofounders by specific traits and characteristics is also in the works.
Constantly looking for feedback:
We’ve gained around 6,000 users and are constantly improving the app based on what we hear. We’d love your feedback—especially as we continue to iterate on user experience for founders.
Fun things to try:
- Try different filters and see what kind of cofounders you find.
- Let us know if swipe feels like the right approach for you, or if browsing/searching fits better.
The tech stack:
Mobile app: Built with FlutterFlow. Playground: JavaScript and HTML running on Webflow. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

15. Show HN: An infinite shared pixel art canvas
URL: https://everyonedraw.com/6/4298/8439
Author: seangransee
Description: This is a fun project I’ve been slowly improving over the past few years. It started as a fun technical experiment and has grown into a canvas where over 300 million pixels have been placed, one pixel at a time.
It’s a single realtime canvas shared by everyone around the world. And when I say it’s global, I truly mean that. Communities have popped up everywhere from Germany to Japan to Azerbaijan. It even had quite the following in China before it got banned by the Chinese firewall.
I call it an “infinite canvas”, but of course, infinite values don’t exist in computing. See if you can find the edge ;)

16. Show HN: Mixlayer – code and deploy LLM prompts using JavaScript
Author: zackangelo
Description: Hi HN,
I'm excited to introduce Mixlayer, a platform I've been working on over the past 6 months that allows you to code and deploy prompts using simple JavaScript functions.
Mixlayer recreates the developer experience of using LLMs locally without having to do all of the local setup yourself. I originally came up with this idea when using LLMs on my MacBook and thought it’d be cool to build a product that makes it easy for everyone. It compiles your code to a WASM binary and runs it alongside a custom inference stack I wrote in Rust. When you integrate LLMs in this way, your code and the model share a common context window that stays open for the duration of your program’s execution. I find many common prompting patterns become much simpler when applied in this way versus using a generic OpenAI-style inference API.
Some cool features:
- Tool calling: LLM has direct access to your code, just pass objects containing functions and their descriptions
- Hidden tokens: Mark certain tokens as "hidden" to recreate long-running reasoning and iterative refinement operations like gpt-4o.
- Output constraints: Use regular expressions to constrain the generated text
- Instant deployment: we can host your prompts behind an API that we scale for you
Tech details:
- Built on Huggingface's candle crate
- Supports continuous batching and multi-GPU for larger models
- WASM allows me to support for more prompt languages easily in the future
Models:
- Free tier: Llama 3.1 8b (on NVIDIA L4s, shared resources)
- Paid tier: Faster models on A100s (soon H100 SXMs)
- Llama 3.1 70b (currently gated due to resource constraints, requires 8xH100 SXMs)
Future:
- Vision models
- More elaborate decoding methods (e.g. beam)
- Multiple model prompts (routing/spawning/forking/joining)
I’m happy to discuss any of the internal/technical details around how I built this.
Thank you for your time and feedback!

25. Show HN: Gradually slow the infinite scroll of Reddit/Twitter
URL: https://github.com/elijahrogers/sleeping_policeman
Author: vaporwave
Description: Many people try to limit their screen time and I'm sure I'm not the only one who found the existing tools lacking. Mostly, they consist of locking yourself out of accessing some websites after a certain amount of time or during certain hours of the day. The problem with these is that - as long as you have the unlock code - you still need to have the willpower to avoid turning them off.
This led me down the path of making the content itself less interesting; to break down the carefully crafted feedback loop that leads to endless scrolling.
Sleeping Policeman is my attempt to create a gentile nudge to lower screen time. It slowly adds a delay to each request over the course of the day until content takes long enough to load that you find something better to do.
Would love to hear your feedback!

29. Show HN: FocusBrew A personal productivity Chrome extension
URL: https://www.focusbrew.dev
Author: baruchbski
Description: Hey
I want to share a Chrome extension I originally created for my own use, but decided to launch publicly after friends showed interest. It's called FocusBrew, and it combines three essential productivity tools:
1. Pomodoro timer: Stay focused with customizable work/break intervals 2. Task tracker: Keep your to-dos organized and visible 3. Site blocker: Eliminate distractions by blocking time-wasting websites
Why I made FocusBrew: I couldn't find a single extension that combined these features effectively, so I built one for myself. When friends saw me using it and asked for a copy, I realized it might be helpful for others too.
Key points about FocusBrew:
- It's completely free
- Doesn't save any personal data (privacy-focused)
- Seamlessly integrates Pomodoro, task tracking, and site blocking
- Clean, intuitive interface
- Customizable to fit your workflow
I'm looking for feedback from fellow productivity enthusiasts to help refine the extension and make it even more useful for the community.

36. Show HN: I made a Smart Calendar – E-Paper Based, Useful AI, Firmware Access
URL: https://get.inkboard.ink/
Author: garshythoel
Description: Hi HN!
My name is Harsh and I've made a Smart Calendar that lives on your desk and syncs with your favorite calendar and task apps. Inku was created to do three things: Be useful, be smart, and be joyful - and that's it. It's mostly a passive device meant to be in your work/home space and not whine for your attention. It started out as a personal project but eventually ended up doing a small alpha test after interest from friends and people on the internet - we’ve now gone all out with a crowdfunding campaign.
The Inku Smart Calendar: Uses Spectra 6 spec E-Paper Connects to the major calendar/todo app providers Has AI summaries Has a bit of a personality
I personally hate having to pull out my phone for mundane things like knowing my schedule for the day and it's even more annoying when (even w/ the notifications) - i still end up missing things. Inku was made because i've loved using paper/pen/whiteboards my whole life but the manual upkeep - as life has gotten busier - has become harder.
This is without the screen strain headaches as well. I have a core belief/aspiration for information to be ambient and around us without locked away behind glass rectangles. One major wave of this is happening via AR/VR - but i personally prefer the not strapping it to my face way of going about it (No hate, I own an Oculus haha).
Inku has no notifications, no speakers and only updates once or twice an hour (only if there's something on your schedule). That said…
I know the design won't work for everyone - it’s definitely not…minimalist - and that there's plenty Inku could be improving on other aspects.
Disclaimer: But what if it's vaporware…it is Kickstarter.
Indeed, valid skepticism - we actually already have done a fully functional alpha test with about 5 people, i primarily made it for myself but ended up making a few more when i found that people were interested in having their own - you can find some of the context in my twitter threads. This is more of a productionizing push rather than an Idea. That said there is always a risk w/ Kickstarter products not shipping.
We also plan to open up the firmware in case people would like to make use of their own endpoints/flash their own firmware + open up integrations code on the server for the community to create their own data sources.
I hope that Inku may be interesting for some of the people here! Feel free to ask any questions - i'll be responding!
You can find most information on the Kickstarter.
Also, Our feature requests and roadmap are public - you can add/comment/upvote on them here: https://inkboard.canny.io/inku-feature-requests
Thank you for your time and attention!

37. Show HN: Addicted to Learning
Author: rstnpce
Description: Isn’t it strange how we can spend hours mindlessly scrolling through social media, yet struggle to focus for even a fraction of that time on learning something meaningful?
Why is it easier to absorb endless streams of stupid content than to invest in something that can truly enrich us?
Obviously, we get constant dopamin hits with the former and the latter feels like effort, right?
Wrong!
I mean, think about it, when you finally understand a math problem and get that AHA-moment, this is the biggest hit of dopamin you can ever imagine, no?
So, if you ask me, the biggest difference between being addicted to learning vs. social media is the delay of gratification.
Also, social algorithms know you very well. They know exactly when it’s time to show you something that you like to keep you engaged.
Luckily, the same applies to resourceful content. If you interact with that 2h every day, an algo trained on your behavior also knows the ins- and outs of how you learn and get to your small and big AHA-moment the quickest.
So, who’s building this?
We do. It’s called evulpo.
A learning companion that delivers aha-moments for K-12 students. We source the content from the teachers, run it through our algorithm, and provide it to each student in a way where they learn best (i.e., get the AHA-moment).
Thoughts? And also, how can we make it work in the US?

38. Show HN: I'm 15 and I built this new tool to find consumer pain points
Author: jasonagi
Description: Hey HN! Jason here. I'm still in high/secondary school, but I love tech/ai and building helpful (well, trying to) projects.
I recently released PainPoint.Pro, a new way to find consumer pain points and product ideas - I got a pretty decent response with about 3K visits to my site, I did not stop there though, I kept iterating and adding new features much requested by some awesome people here giving me feedback. Here's what it does and why I built it:
So, I noticed all these indie hackers scraping Reddit and X for product ideas. But I thought, why not look somewhere else? Somewhere with tons of opinions and complaints...
YouTube comments.
People are always complaining in the comments or voicing their opinion, think about MKBHD's videos, people are always pointing out the negatives of the tech he reviews.
That's why I created PainPoint.Pro. Here's what it does:
You give it a YouTube video URL (We have search functionality if you can't be bothered to open youtube) It scans all the comments. You get a neat report with:
Common complaints grouped together Ideas for products to solve these issues Highlighting of comments where people are saying "I wish there was a" or "I would pay for" etc etc Most negative comments A search function for all the comments We give 1 free credit, try it out and lmk your thoughts! :)
However, If one Youtube video is not enough:
Enter a Youtube niche, eg tech or sports It scans (up to) 10 videos in that niche to give you an even better report (This will be increased very soon just currently scaling my infrastructure) You get the full report like mentioned above What I learned from this is the importance of speed, and using the best tools to accelerate your development. With the tools right now you can 10X your speed allowing you to ship all of your ideas to a high quality standard every 1-3 weeks, this was never possible before and I’m still juggling secondary/highschool.
Social proof is also much needed, so any constructive feedback is
If you want to see my full journey in building amazing (at least trying to) products, I am very active on X - https://x.com/ardeved - Send me a message here if you have any queries!
I have 53 ideas in my notepad (12 are stupid) which I will work on soon, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on my latest project - https://painpoint.pro!

43. Show HN: A minimalist basketball stat sheet app
URL: https://gitlab.com/andrewfulrich/statskeeper
Author: TiredGuy
Description: I was at a volunteer coach's meeting for the upcoming basketball season, and a friend of mine mentioned that he had gotten a stat book this year to help him better keep track of what his players needed to work on. As the analytical nerd that I am, I thought this was a great idea!
I checked out a few statkeeping books, and either didn't find one that had all the stats I was interested in as someone who's developing young players (e.g missed vs. made layups, double-dribbles), or required a lot of special marks that increased the learning curve and distraction factor. I saw a similar deficiency with existing apps, and I also wanted one that allowed you to easily export the data for sharing/compiling and had an undo button for my inevitable mistakes. I tried it at some games this last weekend and my son and his friend enjoyed talking to each other about their numbers on the way home. I also look forward to helping my friend who got the statbook during the times he can't enter stats himself.
How to use: It starts with a tutorial, but basically after you click "Players" and enter your players, you can increment stats by selecting a player from the top and then selecting a stat. You can view your stats anytime by clicking "Show Stats", and when finished you can hit "Export CSV" and then "Reset" to get ready for the next game
How it's built: It's pretty much built with vanilla js, except for the tutorial lib (which I also made with vanilla js, btw: https://gitlab.com/andrewfulrich/tourit.js). I took and modified the central state store from here (https://gitlab.com/andrewfulrich/barleytea/-/blob/master/doc...). All the data is stored in window.localStorage, so no back-end. Cursor+Claude helped generate a lot of the original code but became a lot less useful when it came to refactoring and debugging. It was my first successful project with Cursor and it was definitely a good experience overall.

47. Show HN: NotesHub: cross-platform, Markdown-based note-taking app
URL: https://about.noteshub.app
Author: alex-titarenko
Description: Thank you for your comments, just some context:
- The app is available for iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, and the Web.
- The Web version is implemented as a Progressive Web Application that is very responsive, local first, offline first, can be installed, and is entirely free to use.
- Native (hybrid) versions do not require subscription fees and have small one-time payment.
- You can store your notes in Git using any Git provider such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. However, it has the best built-in integration with GitHub. Self-hosted scenarios like Gitea are also supported. In addition to Git, you can store your notes in a file system and iCloud Drive on Apple Devices.
- It has a rich Markdown syntax support with added extensions like Mermaid, ABC music notation, callouts, etc.
In addition to regular Markdown notes, you can create Kanban boards for easy task management (under the hood, it is still stored in Markdown). If that is not enough, you can create whiteboards based on Excalidraw and embed them back into your notes.

48. Show HN: I made an AI humanizer that does not mess up your text
URL: https://ai-text-humanizer.com/
Author: Gablopreneur
Description: In the ever evolving world of ... naaah, I can't see it anymore. Everywhere the same phrases, words, and patterns. Sometimes people even leave the GPT-generated ** and the ### characters in the text. I noticed that I immediately distrust any text that looks like copy & paste GPT content.
"Are there tools to solve that problem?" I thought.
I fired good ol' Google to see if there are any good tools to "humanize" AI content.
Let me tell you: There were plenty!
But to make a long story short: The first few results on Google were horrible. They add mistakes to your text or mess it up with weird words that even destroy the meaning of your message. All that just to get a 0% AI score from any AI detector. Even ahrefs jumped on the humanizer keyword train and made another mediocre tool. It's all about SEO traffic, I guess?!
My last few years circled about plain language and how it helps people understand your message. Simple language builds trust. It converts visitors into customers, into fans. Plus I've been programming for about 25 years now. Plus I already did a few things with the GPT API and lots of things with regular expressions and text manipulation.
So, this seems like a job for me, right?
Two months of trial and error until - EUREKA - behold - yet another humanizer!
My humanizer is about a month old now and already gets organic traffic from Google, Reddit, and some AI directories. The traffic has a promising upward trend. The tool attracted more than 3,500 users and 130 paying subscribers, which is insane. I didn't expect a lot, even though I did my SEO homework (as far as I am able to as a dev).
How did I do it? A few takeaways:
1. Start with a strong main keyword and build your page around it (title tag, headings).
2. Look at the top Google results for your keyword and do what they do - just better.
3. Create a few easy backlinks on AI directories, but not too fast, or Google thinks you are spam.
4. Post your link on social media where people are asking for a solution you provide (Reddit worked best by far. Disclaimer: I have no idea how social media works).
5. Free tier! With so many humanizers, you have to convince new users in seconds. Let them try with one click. Limit it fiercely, though. People will abuse it if you let them.
6. Ask and beg your first users for feedback. Where do they get stuck? What's weird?
7. Analytics! You need to collect data on how users use your tool to make the right next steps.
What a ride. And it is just getting started. Thanks for reading my story.

Just a heads-up, you’ll need your own OpenAI API Key to run it (since it burns through credits at 24c per minute).
If you open up the browser console, you can also see the transcript when interacting with it.

It gets the comments using the HN API, uses the Open AI API to extract book names, and then the Amazon API to find the book on Amazon.

64. Show HN: I made a football/soccer formation and squad app
URL: https://apps.apple.com/au/app/football-formation/id6683308607
Author: chocoboaus2
Description: Inspired by watching my sons coach using a carry around whiteboard, plus also starting to coach my wifes over 30s womens amateur team I wrote a mobile app for amateur football/soccer coaches.
It allows you to add your players information, manage substitutions during games (who's on the field, whos on the bench) as well as drag around players into formations, draw tactics on the screen and share using the IOS share features to email, messages etc. Build your tactic and share it with the team between games.
It's free and its designed to just be an easy thing for coaches to take around with them and has no cost.
I know I'm not the first to do this but many of them are targeted towards professional coaches and a lot more complex than they need to be in my opinion. Some are attached to expensive hardware subscriptions for more in-depth player management than amateur coaches need.
Appreciate any feedback and thanks for giving it a go if you do :)
